In my free time, I think of frisbee. I sleep, I think of frisbee. I play, and I love frisbee. I'm not the best player, but I enjoy just going out and having fun. I, essentially, embody the "spirit of the game," without getting to into myself.
I played for three years in college, four years in the pros, and five years in my wildest dreams.
I work weekdays until 5.
Yes....as much frisbee as humanly possible, as nothing else can satiate my hunger for floating discs.
"I love frisbee and camping, but am not a hippy because I'd rather climb a tree than hug it. Also, in college, I was part of the "Ultimate Frisbee" game. Yes...victory."
These games are great to just go out and have fun, regardless of a player's skill level. Nearly all of the players care about the game, and not about winning or scoring more points than another player. Just about everyone encourages someone after a dropped throw or a botched catch, and no one is quick to judge. The attire is casual, and you really can't disagree with that. The field is grassy, instead of concretey, which is yet another plus. It's also a great workout and an enjoyable Sunday afternoon. Could it get any better? Add burgers and hot dogs on charcoal and it might. Throw in a little bit of the ol' political debate and it might not.
