Fun times at the beach. This co-ed group is for anyone interested in playing ultimate frisbee. Total experienced and beginners welcomed.  We'll teach you the rules and how to throw and catch the frisbee. Ultimate is a fast-paced game combining elements of soccer, basketball and football.  Be prepared to run alot. Come try it out.  You'll see why its called the Ultimate sport. Pick-up games on Wednesdays at 5 pm on the beach at 24th st. in Virginia Beach.  And Saturdays at 2 pm.

This is a group to organize local pick-up games of Ultimate Frisbee, in and around the Richmond, VA area. If you're unfamiliar with the sport, Ultimate Frisbee(UF) is essentially football played with a frisbee, except the minor fact that you can't run if you have the disc. Any male or female who has ever played UF, wanted to learn to play, likes running, or just likes throwing a disc around should join this group.

We started this game in March 2010 for fun and exercise.  From struggling to have enough for 3 on 3 games for the first few months, we've grown the group via word of mouth and have been getting enough players for a game regularly.  Come on out if you've played a lot or if you've never played at all - we have and are open to all skills levels.  We have beginners and experience players who play in multiple leagues.
